AIC-Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation (FabLab AIC-NITF), supported by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, successfully conducted a comprehensive 3-Day Hands-on Training Course on Internet of Things (IoT) at Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir (SSVM), Talcher. The training program aimed to empower young school students with practical technical skills in IoT, embedded systems, microcontrollers, and modern electronics. Key Highlights of the Workshop: • Interactive Technical Foundations: Introduction to the basics of Internet of Things (IoT), microcontrollers, sensor technology, and smart automation concepts. • Hands-on Circuit Building: Students worked directly with Arduino/microcontroller development boards, breadboards, ultrasonic sensors, IR sensors, servo motors, and LEDs to build physical circuits. • Logic Programming & Sensor Integration: Guided practical sessions on interfacing sensors, logic programming, and debugging code using laptops provided during the session. • Live Mentorship & Troubleshooting: Experienced mentors from FabLab AIC-NITF guided student teams through hardware assembly, wiring, and code execution. • High Student Engagement: Dozens of enthusiastic students participated in teams, constructed functional hardware prototypes, and showcased their innovative project ideas. This initiative reflects FabLab AIC-NITF's commitment to promoting STEM education, hands-on learning, and practical maker culture across schools in Odisha.
